Dean Winchester/Eliot

Dean was pissed. They'd been on a case for a week and still hadn't figured it out. It seemed someone else was on the same case and the asshole seemed to be one step ahead of them. Finally they'd gotten a lead and were on their way to the house where the demon they were hunting was supposedly at. The poor sap being used as a meat suit was apparently some important businessman and the demon riding him around like his own personal pony was causing enough trouble to have made the papers a few times over.
He looked up at the house as they pulled up, eyes narrowing as he surveyed the layout. They got out and he popped the trunk, pulling out his pistol and the demon knife before sliding the blade into his boot. Once they were both loaded up they made their way to the door, pushing it open easily and heading inside. Dean immediately lifted the pistol, looking around before motioning to Sam that he was heading upstairs, being as silent as humanly possible.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:10 am (UTC)People killing him, fine, that was just part of the job's dangers, he accepted that. But when they blew up public places in an attempt to catch him in it, that was going too damn far.
So when it all came to head inside the security building where his target housed his private collection, Eliot didn't hesitate to take it out on the thugs who attacked him. The security were all knocked out nicely ahead of time, he felt bad for hurting the security guys who were just doing their jobs... but these damn thugs, they deserved everything he did to them.
With an inhuman heave, he threw one of them into the far wall of the complex while he gripped the other by his throat. "There were kids in that buildin'!!"

Date: 2013-04-01 12:17 am (UTC)They made their way through the building, checking the knocked out security guards and other personnel along the way. It was weird because no one seemed to be dead, but they kept moving until they heard the sounds of fighting. Sam looked over at Dean, motioning to a set of double doors before he bolted to the other side of them and pressed to the wall.
Dean nodded, pressed against the other side of the doors before they both turned at the same time and kicked the doors in. Both their guns raised at the same time and they both trained on Eliot as he threw the thug across the room. Dean's eyes widened, mouth opening to yell. "Eliot!" He looked at the activity in the room before looking at Sam. His own gun had lowered slightly, but his brother was still aiming at the man.
He jerked, reaching out and grabbing Sam just as his brother pulled the trigger. There was nothing he could do.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:26 am (UTC)The familiar voice calling his name might possibly have saved his life, for he turned just before the distinctive noise of a gun firing echoed in the large room.
Pain exploded out somewhere in his back, piercing, breathtaking. It was nothing like any bullet shot he had ever experienced. The point of entry all the way to where the bullet was lodged radiated pain and his step faltered, causing him to stumble forward once before the excruciating pain knocked him to his knees. The thug in his grip dropped, throat crushed and suffocating slowly, but the remaining three, seeing this was an opportunity, tried to go at him with their knives.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:32 am (UTC)Sam spluttered before he started yelling. "Dean he was killing those men!" Dean turned, almost snarling. "Yeah and it was how many to one, Sam? They were trying to kill him! You pick up that gun and I swear, Sammy I'll beat you into next week." He had no clue what was coming over him as he dropped down next to Eliot, eyes roving the room for any more threats before leaning in. "Eliot?"
Sam watched the two of them as realization struck. "The bullet was silver, Dean. Just like yours. He's a fucking werewolf!" He snatched his gun, raising it to point at Eliot again, but Dean moved into the way. "Sam..." He warned.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:41 am (UTC)He shivered as his body tried to work through the stress. He wanted to lean into Dean's presence, let Dean help him. The other man felt like reassurance, like family, pack...
But Dean's argument with his brother... —Hunters— became the warning bells of imminent danger. He worked alone. He always worked alone, and this man's brother shot him! Eliot snarled, forcing himself to push up and get off his knees.
With everything he had left, he scrambled to get away. He looked over his shoulders once with fierce yellow eyes, set in a face etched in pain, before he crashed through the second story window and tumbled to the grounds below.

Date: 2013-04-01 12:48 am (UTC)"Yeah I have. He isn't like Madison. He doesn't eat people! Why do you think I've been doing all that god damned research? I swear if you killed him..." He started out of the room but Sam pulled him back. "Let him go Dean." Dean spun, pushing Sam back a few steps. "Fuck off Sam! You don't have any right! At least I'm not protecting a demon." And with that he slammed the butt of his pistol against Sam's head, knocking him out.
"Sorry Sammy. I'm not letting him die." He turned, running out of the room and down the stairs as soon as he got to them. Thankfully it didn't take him long to get outside and he called. "Eliot!"

Date: 2013-04-01 12:57 am (UTC)At least he tried to keep himself out of plain sight, but he wasn't looking good. While conscious, barely, he was pale and his skin actually felt normal to the touch, human normal, but cool to a werewolf.

Date: 2013-04-01 01:04 am (UTC)Though he really didn't want to try to take him anywhere first. He had no clue what would would happen if the bullet stayed in much longer. He carefully rolled his shirt up, looking at the bullet wound, making a scared noise in his throat.

Date: 2013-04-01 01:24 am (UTC)His eyes remained the wolf's color though as Dean reached out to help him, like with how hurt he was, Eliot didn't have the strength to fight that animal he told Dean about from escaping. Still there was just something about the hunter. He was shot by the man's brother yet Dean's touch managed to help calm his creature down.
Eventually, blue flecks started to invade back into the yellow irises.
"Need the bullet out first..." he panted out when finally more blue was present than yellow.

Date: 2013-04-01 01:33 am (UTC)He pulled out a flask of holy water as well, knowing it wouldn't burn before opening it and splashing it over the wound to clean it some. His belt came off and he folded it over. "Bite down on this." He mumbled, brushing fingers through his hair for a moment.
He pulled the tweezers out of the first aid kit, moving over Eliot, sitting on his thighs before pressing his hand to his back to try and hold him down. Then he went in, pressing in to work the tweezers around the bullet, digging carefully.

Date: 2013-04-01 01:47 am (UTC)He took the offered belt and bit down on it gratefully, knowing that he would need it soon. And he did.
Eliot cried out around the belt when Dean started digging in, creating deep enough bite marks on the tough leather that the belt would never recover from. Still, the bullet would eventually be found lodged against one of his ribs and could be retrieved.
Unfortunately, or blissfully, Eliot passed out from the pain by then.

Date: 2013-04-01 01:58 am (UTC)He looked around before basically dragging Eliot to the Impala and getting him in before getting in as well and speeding off. He watched traffic nervously, waiting for Eliot to wake up as he drove around. He was trying to think of what to do next. He needed to find a hotel, get Eliot someplace that he could lay down.
"Wake up, Eliot. Come on please..." He reached over, squeezing his arm gently before he found a hotel on the other side of town from where he and Sam had booked a room. It was a little bit more expensive than they were used to, but he'd managed to hustle a good amount of money the night before from a few guys at a bar so he could handle it.

Date: 2013-04-01 02:02 am (UTC)Even then, it took a good ten more minutes before the werewolf's eyes fluttered and slivers of blue appeared beneath the drooping eyelids.
"Where...?" he asked in a voice barely above a whisper. He still looked pale and frankly, little better than a corpse, but he was hanging on and trying to come back around.

Date: 2013-04-01 02:12 am (UTC)He twitched slightly, almost reaching out to assure himself that Eliot was okay but he stopped himself before getting out and heading inside. Fifteen minutes later he was back outside, key card in hand as he pulled open the door to get Eliot out.
"Ok...hey you ok?" He knelt down next to the Impala, looking up at him and chewing on his lip.

Date: 2013-04-01 03:27 am (UTC)He had waken up a bit more in an attempt to look around him, taking an interest in where he was being taken. He groaned though when he tried to get out.
"Those guys..." He wanted to make sure that there wouldn't be any pursuit, he wouldn't be able to survive another attack right now.
If Dean tried to lift him, and he definitely needed heavy support if he was to get anywhere, the hunter would find that the wolf was no longer cool, but burning up like a furnace.

Date: 2013-04-01 03:37 am (UTC)"No neighbors. No one is anywhere near us." He pulled the curtains shut, body on autopilot as he spread salt along the bottom of the door and along the window. Once he was done he kicked his duffel bag over by the table before pulling his gun from his jeans and laying it down on the bedside table.
He'd gotten a room with only one bed, but he hadn't really been thinking. He just wanted to make sure the werewolf was going to be ok. "Tell me what happened. Who the hell were those guys?"

Date: 2013-04-01 03:55 am (UTC)Closing the blinds to make the place dimmer helped, so did knowing that there was no one around. He weakly noted where Dean placed the gun, but he didn't move towards it. It was questionable if he could even if he wanted to.
"Was a set up... Messed up a job earlier, guy hired me for a second one to make it even." He breathed out slowly and closed his eyes. "Goons been tryin' to kill me since I got in town."
no subject
Date: 2013-04-01 04:03 am (UTC)He leaned his head back against the headboard, still brushing through his hair. "Look just...we'll stay here until you're healed up. And yes I said we. Sam won't be able to find us. I paid cash and used a name I've never used before. Plus he wouldn't look at a place like this." He chuckled, but there was no real amusement behind it. "He'd figure on looking either at the nastiest dives or someplace real upscale in town to find me."
no subject
Date: 2013-04-01 04:55 am (UTC)He still didn't understand, but given his condition right now, he was just glad that he didn't have to fight the monster inside him as well.
"Fuck... Means he knows... damnit." He suppose eventually, someone was going to figure out his secret. This was possibly the worst way though.
Agitated, Eliot's expression scrunched up with pain before he breathed out slowly to concentrate away from it again. It was almost like he was using breathing exercises to manage it. "What'd he shoot me with?" Even Eliot knew that it wasn't a normal bullet to make him feel feverish like this. He also began shivering too.

Date: 2013-04-01 05:02 am (UTC)"We were using silver bullets. Thats what Sam hit you with. You probably have silver poisoning." He bent down without thinking, pressing a kiss to his temple. "Right now you just need to relax. Do painkillers even work right on you? I have some out in the car."
His eyes widened for a moment and he cursed. "I have to hide the Impala. As soon as Sam sees it he'll know where we are. Do you think you'll be ok for half an hour? You can try to rest."

Date: 2013-04-01 05:08 am (UTC)"Leave me a w-weapon," he said as he shifted and got away from Dean. His inner wolf growled and caused his eyes to phase partially to yellow again, but for the moment he still seemed to be in control.
"And d-don't come back." While Dean seemed to calm the beast, Eliot didn't want to risk it. With the full moon coming soon, he knew that his temper would flare as his hold on the wild creature became more tenuous day by day.
no subject
Date: 2013-04-01 05:16 am (UTC)As soon as Eliot told him not to come back he turned angry eyes down on him. "Fuck you. I'm coming back in thirty minutes and so help me if you aren't here, Eliot. If you try and fucking take off in your condition." He growled before moving onto the bed next to him, hovering over him.
"You might can kick my ass when you're in tip top, but you aren't right now. I'll beat the hell out of you." He stared down at him for a moment, staring into those yellowed eyes before bending down and kissing him hard. "Stay. Here."
no subject
Date: 2013-04-01 05:24 am (UTC)Instead, he reached and grabbed onto Dean's shirt before the guy could go. It was hard focusing and his vision weaved slightly, but Eliot blinked and forced himself to concentrate.
"Fine... I won't leave." He couldn't even if he wanted to, not like this. And although he healed relatively quickly normally, a wound like this would still put him down for a few days, and there was no telling what the silver would do.
He wouldn't be able to get out of here before the full moon, that he was certain.
Which was why it was more imperative that Dean didn't stay.
"Come back... after a week." By then the three days of the full moon would've passed.
no subject
Date: 2013-04-01 05:29 am (UTC)"Look, whatever you are so scared of, I'm not worried about it. You let me deal." Of course he wasn't thinking about the full moon. Not at all. Though with the way he was feeling, it wouldn't have mattered anyways.

Date: 2013-04-01 05:34 am (UTC)The hunter was a good guy, he could tell. He would actually feel bad if he hurt him because of this. He could already feel part of that rage and frustration building when Dean wouldn't listen, and his earlier fight with those goons had been in part affected by it.
His next words were harsh whispers, but he couldn't let Dean come back and be in danger. "Can't... control the beast."
