Dean Winchester/Eliot
Dean was pissed. They'd been on a case for a week and still hadn't figured it out. It seemed someone else was on the same case and the asshole seemed to be one step ahead of them. Finally they'd gotten a lead and were on their way to the house where the demon they were hunting was supposedly at. The poor sap being used as a meat suit was apparently some important businessman and the demon riding him around like his own personal pony was causing enough trouble to have made the papers a few times over.
He looked up at the house as they pulled up, eyes narrowing as he surveyed the layout. They got out and he popped the trunk, pulling out his pistol and the demon knife before sliding the blade into his boot. Once they were both loaded up they made their way to the door, pushing it open easily and heading inside. Dean immediately lifted the pistol, looking around before motioning to Sam that he was heading upstairs, being as silent as humanly possible.

"You really think you're in any condition to make me leave?" He cleaned the wound as best as he could, feeling the heat radiating from it. "Now stop trying to tell me what I am gonna do. Tell me what happens when you change." He was genuinely curious and he thought it might help with the research he was doing.
no subject
"You're the hunter..." he muttered, obviously not going to make this easy. "Don't you know what happens to a werewolf... during full moon?"
no subject
"I'm the hunter that told you I've only come across werewolves that eat people. You are of the non cannibal kind, remember? Come on Eliot, tell me please?" He started bandaging him up again, intending to help him move until he could get him buried under all the blankets.
no subject
But he wished the hunter would take a clue and stop asking him things he didn't want to talk about.
Growling in annoyance, he tried to look over his shoulder again and stopped when his vision wavered dangerously. He rested his head back on his arms right after.
"I turn into a fuckin' beast. Happy?"
no subject
He looked down at him, frowning. "A beast? Like, half man half animal kind of beast? You're not being real specific. And I get you don't want to talk about it, but I want to know."
no subject
The idea of poisoning was pretty easy to deal with. "If it's poison... just gotta purge it out. It's how you deal with all poisons." He didn't know if it worked the same with silver, he had never came across something like this before although he had known that touching that stuff was a bad idea. All this time, he avoided touching it if he could.
He grunted when the conversation circled back to him on the full moon again. "I turn into an animal, alright?" he growled, "A wolf."
no subject
He could call Sam and leave it at that. So long as he made sure he was away from the hotel because he knew his brother and he knew that as soon as he hung up he'd try to trace his cell phone. Maybe he could find out about what to do if Eliot did have serious silver poisoning.
"Relax." He growled, rubbing fingers over the back of his neck and squeezing lightly, massaging once he had the needle and thread ready. He focused though, eyes intent as he reached down and pinched the skin together so he could start stitching the wound shut.
no subject
Yet one word and a touch to the nape of his neck and Eliot found that he was relaxing. It was as if Dean's word was infused with magic and came out as a command that tamed his wolf. Whatever it was, Eliot found some of that anger fading away.
"Damnit," he muttered, much less irritable than before. It was just in time for him to start tensing when he felt the first touch of the needle digging into his skin. To his credit, he managed to stay pretty still, flinching only once or twice when the needle went in. That wasn't to say he wasn't moving though as there was no controlling the shivering his worn body produced.
no subject
"Okay we're gonna get you moved around and cover you up. You're...a lot hotter than normal and I think that might be better for you." He slowly helped Eliot move, pulling the blanket out from underneath him. He kicked off his jeans before getting under the blankets.
"Okay come here." He helped Eliot back against his chest again, tugging the blankets around him trying to warm him up.
no subject
By the time Dean got around to moving him, Eliot was exhausted from it all and was rearranged on the bed without much protest. Even how he was put back against the hunter's chest, he only made a soft noise at the treatment.
"You treat all your one night stands like this?"
no subject
He started brushing fingers through his hair again, yawning. "Damn it I'm fucking tired. Just...okay get some rest and we can deal with maybe getting some food in you in a little bit."
no subject
Against Dean's chest, Eliot shook his head slightly. "Need more water." If he was poisoned, he was damn well going to purge the poisons out.
no subject
He looked down at Eliot then. "Not gonna tell him where I am, but maybe he can give me some info. Well, he will because he knows that if he doesn't help he can just forget finding us. He can find a way to help flush out your wound though."
no subject
"Don't like it." He exhaled and drank half the bottle in one breath, then turned back to give Dean another strong look. "He wants me dead." And Eliot was supposed to trust a method that guy came up with to clean his wound?
no subject
He remembered Madison and frowned. "You aren't the same kind though." He shifted a bit, suddenly uncomfortable as he continued. "I started doing research. Made him pull up the different lore on werewolves. I found out a lot about there being different kinds. Narrowed it down based on you not having a taste for human. You turning into an actual wolf will probably narrow it down some more..."
He hoped Eliot wouldn't get upset at the fact that Dean had been trying to find out more about what he was. It had been curiosity at first, finding out that there were werewolves out there that didn't feed on humans. Didn't even have the urge to, in fact.
no subject
"Still don't like it," Eliot mumbled, but he knew another losing battle when he saw one. It was probably better if he just saved his breath and picked his battles.
So he sighed and drank the rest of the water bottle. "If you really think he can help..." He hoped he didn't trust the wrong person.
no subject
He took the empty bottle, tossing it in the trash can. His hand brushed down Eliot's side carefully as he sighed.
no subject
So shifting into a position more comfortable in the hunter's hold, Eliot sighed and tried to relax. They met three times and he was already trusting enough to fall asleep with him... despite their opposing natures. Despite the relation of how he got shot.
It was baffling, but he accepted it as it was and tried to sleep.
no subject
It honestly wasn't very long before he actually ended up falling asleep.
no subject
This time though, due to the wound and Dean's soothing petting, he was fast asleep in the hunter's arms.
When Dean woke, the tired werewolf was still asleep.
no subject
He pulled on his jeans, watching the bed as he moved quietly before pulling his cellphone out of his pocket and slipping outside. He still had to call Sam, talk to him and try to get all this sorted out. Then maybe they could figure out how to get Eliot better faster.
no subject
Yet while he didn't come to, he still groaned at the shift and tried to reach a hand out to where Dean was.
Finding the pillow, he nuzzled against it and fell back fast asleep.
no subject
"Sam I don't give a shit! He isn't anything we've ever hunted before! He doesn't fucking eat people..." He paused, listening before shaking his head. "Sammy please, trust me for fucking once. Remember the research I asked you to look up? I narrowed down on a few books and I need you to look through them. Everything is bookmarked."
He paused again before snapping. "No! No! You shot him and I swear to GOD if you don't help me you can just go on your own. How many times have I given you the benefit of the doubt? Like with Ruby? The least you can do is this one thing for me." He glanced back at the door, peeking inside. "Yeah? Because maybe I care about him Sam? I don't know its...somethings different. I can't explain. Yeah. Thanks ok? Just...look through the shit I have bookmarked."
He leaned back against the wall next to the door. "Look through them and narrow down any that make a full change. No man beast thing. He turns full wolf. Yeah Sam. Just go through and figure out anything you can. I'll call back later on. Also, figure out what can be done for silver poisoning.... Yeah because of you. I still owe you an ass kicking for that. Get to work. Later." He flipped the phone shut, turning it off immediately as he sigh.
no subject
Pretending to sleep, he listened attentively as Dean alternated between shouting and pleading with his brother. Eliot would've been inclined to argue for Sam if it would get Dean out of here, but the more he listened, the more he knew how futile it was.
When did three nights mean Dean was caring for him?
Probably when he fucking fell asleep with the guy petting his hair.
Eliot groaned at that realization and was inclined to agree something was different here.
When he heard the goodbye and the snap of Dean's phone, Eliot opened his eyes again and waited for Dean to reenter the room. "He agreed?"
no subject
"He's not real happy about it, but I'm pretty sure he believes me about you not being anything we've ever hunted before. He knows there are other kinds out there. Read plenty about them in the past, but since we've never come across another kind its a little hard for him to believe." He shifted, shaking his head slightly before pausing.
"So exactly how much did you hear?" Because if Eliot had woken up when he was yelling at Sam, Dean knew there might be a chance Eliot had heard some of what he'd said about how he felt. He slowly looked down at the werewolf, staring at him.
