Dean Winchester/Eliot
Dean was pissed. They'd been on a case for a week and still hadn't figured it out. It seemed someone else was on the same case and the asshole seemed to be one step ahead of them. Finally they'd gotten a lead and were on their way to the house where the demon they were hunting was supposedly at. The poor sap being used as a meat suit was apparently some important businessman and the demon riding him around like his own personal pony was causing enough trouble to have made the papers a few times over.
He looked up at the house as they pulled up, eyes narrowing as he surveyed the layout. They got out and he popped the trunk, pulling out his pistol and the demon knife before sliding the blade into his boot. Once they were both loaded up they made their way to the door, pushing it open easily and heading inside. Dean immediately lifted the pistol, looking around before motioning to Sam that he was heading upstairs, being as silent as humanly possible.

Eliot was limp in Dean's arms as the hunter helped him over to the bed. It was a good thing that Dean was a strong man as the werewolf had no strength to support himself at all even for the short trip across the room.
"M'fine," he muttered with a note of annoyance when he was all but tucked in. "Just... need a moment to recover, s'all."

"Okay, well, your wound is looking pretty good. I think its getting close to fully closing. Umm...you want me to bandage you up before I let you rest? I figured I'd go flop on the couch and watch some tv..."
no subject
"Leave my back." Shifting, he grimaced slightly when he shifted but he still kept off it for now. "If it's healin', let it air dry." He closed his eyes for a bit then opened them up again. "I feel better."
no subject
The fork clicked on the plate and he picked it up, spearing a piece of chicken while he looked down at Eliot. "Thats good. I was hoping you'd be feeling better soon. I'm just waiting for you to not look like you're gonna pass out to start telling you I told you so." He winked playfully, trying to get the man to smile.
"Sam'll probably text in an hour or so. I'll see if he's found out any more about...this thing between us. Maybe I'll give you some good news."
no subject
"You're lucky, alright. Don't push it." Yet it was obvious that he wasn't going to harm Dean though. Not that he couldn't, he most definitely could, but he didn't want to.
"That's good... findin' out more about it is a good idea." He closed his eyes and all but rested his head on Dean's lap. Even though he slept the whole night through, that change really took a lot out of him.

He changed the channel on the tv, staring at the screen before setting the remote down. He nodded a bit, fingers faltering in his hair for a moment. "Yeah...I mean hell, you'll be rid of me if he gets it all figured out, right?" He pushed Eliot's shoulder lightly, trying to make it seem unimportant, but the smile was gone from his face.
"No more annoying the shit out of you..."
no subject
"It's a good idea to know more about what's affectin' us. It's... damnit, Dean."
He raised a hand and rubbed at the bridge of his nose.
"Not tryin' to get rid of you."
no subject
He didn't look convinced at ALL, but he left it at that. He wanted Eliot to get some rest and getting this started would do just the opposite. He hummed slightly as he bit into an eggroll, smiling a bit around it and scooting down a bit.
no subject
Interestingly enough, while he normally had trouble sleeping more than a few hours at night, even less when with company, yet around Dean, he was sleeping more than he normally would for a week.

He sent one back to Sam, carefully slipping out of bed and tugging on his jeans. He watched the man for a moment before heading towards the door. He slipped outside, leaving the door ajar. He'd gotten to a point where he didn't really mind Eliot hearing what he was saying. Plus with him asleep he wanted to hang close by.
no subject
As if satisfied with the scent of his Alpha, Eliot shifted and continued his restorative rest.
no subject
Sam glanced through the cracked door, tilting his head as he looked at the sleeping man. "So is he healing up okay then? I would...say something but he looked pretty asleep to me." Sam shifted, leaning against the next car over. "There anything else you guys need? I know you don't feel comfortable with leaving. Oh...the towels and shit are in the car."
Dean nodded, sighing before looking towards the parking lot. "So...what have you found out about the whole bond thing?" His brother brushed his fingers through his hair, sighing as well. "From what I have found...not really much honestly. I haven't found a way to break it, thats for sure. Umm from what I have found though, well it explains why he didn't hurt you last night. An Alpha...soothes the wolf? He wouldn't hurt you. Not on purpose in that form. As a dude? Well...I sure wouldn't want to piss him off any more than I'm sure I already have."
no subject
He cracked open an eye first, but instead of making it known he was awake, he closed it again to listen on what was found.
No way to break the bond, might as well, he didn't want it broken. And, the whole Alpha thing, that explained why his beast acted like a puppy around Dean. He gave himself away when he started chuckling at Sam's observation about pissing him off though. That was true, few people wanted to piss Eliot Spencer off.
no subject
Dean nudged Sam slightly before leaning on the door frame. "So I'm assuming you heard all that about the bond, right? I mean, I'm trying to find more but its not that easy finding information on...well the type of werewolf you are. I'm trying though."
Finally Dean just walked in the room, going over to the bed and dropping down next to him. "You don't mind if Sam comes in for a minute, huh? I was planning on sending him to grab a few things. Some more bottled water, beer, just random stuff like that."
no subject
His gaze didn't leave the other man for a second. Even after Dean walked in and sat down beside him, Eliot's gaze continued being locked on Sam with an unreadable look. It was chilly, sure, but equally there was no hate in it either. Just a healthy amount of wariness as was reasonable given their situation. He wanted to address Dean on the whole bond thing, but not while the brother was still around.
Somewhere within him his wolf growled at this enemy, it also recognized that this was family of the Alpha, so it became a confused animal. Thankfully, Eliot was more than a simple beast.
"Sure," Eliot said with a one shoulder shrug. "He's welcome to come in. Room's not mine alone."
no subject
Sam grabbed a chair from the table, tugging it closer to them but still keeping his distance. "Look I.." He frowned, unused to having to do this. "I shouldn't have shot you. I should have trusted Dean's judgement...even if I don't like it. He likes you." He shrugged a shoulder, leaning on the chair. He wasn't sure he was comfortable enough to sit yet.
"Damn straight you shouldn't have shot him." He nudged Eliot. "Just as much your room as mine, ya know. You sleep here too." He playfully tugged at Eliot's hair before shifting them back into the same position they had been in before, pulling Eliot into his side so the man could lay his head back on Dean.
After watching them for a moment, Sam actually gave a half smile at seeing his brother so...obviously happy and content. It was almost domestic. Not that he would ever say that out loud for fear of getting knocked out by his brother. "Alright so...you heard what I said about the bond. Dean is pretty safe around you. He's also going to end up pretty much...attached to you too. There were a few descriptions of...psychic bonds? Empathy and maybe a little telepathy? I haven't found enough of that to really tell you much though."
no subject
Damn right he had the right to retaliate, and no amount of Dean cuddling up to him and petting him would stop him from doing that. He couldn't live with himself if he knew that he let some guy who shot him on purpose go without doing anything, even if the guy was apologetic and his Alpha's brother.
Once Sam got close, more convenient for him so he didn't have to travel as far, Eliot leaped off the bed and pretty much pounced Sam in a blur. He was probably on him before the other hunter had any idea what was going on, and Eliot's fist was already pulled back and smacking into his cheek.
It was probably a good thing that Sam was standing before his chair such that he had less height to fall. Nevermind that Sam was nearly a full head taller and broader than him, Eliot didn't seem to notice that at all as he towered over the guy sitting in the chair.
"Now we're even," he growled before stalking back over to the bed and moving to find himself a spot to lean against Dean. "You were sayin'?"
no subject
Sam just looked dazed, hand coming up to rub his face as he stared up at Eliot. "I...ah..yeah? Fuck..." He couldn't move his jaw much. Jesus fucking christ that had hurt like hell. This dude packed a punch.
Dean leaned forward, raising an eyebrow. "You okay, Sammy?" When his little brother nodded slowly he tugged Eliot in close again, shaking his head before leaning his head down and kissing Eliot firmly. "That was kinda hot." He mumbled in his ear before looking back at Sam who was staring at them in shock.
"Anyways, yeah, you were saying something about...empathy and mind reading?"
no subject
"How's that s'posed to work?" Eliot asked, his relaxed features scrunching a bit at the thought of developing mind reading abilities with his Alpha. It weirded him, but he nodded his head to show that he accepted these things as facts. If he could be a werewolf, then werewolves could develop psychic abilities made perfect sense.
no subject
"If you weren't still hurt I'd fuck the hell out of you as soon as Sammy was out the door." He smiled before pulling away to pay attention to what Sam had to say. He frowned a bit, looking confused. "So wait...you're sayin we'll be able to hear each other's thoughts? I...Thats kinda weird."
Sam shook his head, peeking at them before opening his eyes completely. "No...I mean you might not. Nothing might happen or you might both become empathic towards one another instead." Before Dean had a chance to say anything he held his hand up, continuing. "Empathic means you'd be able to tell what the other was feeling, Dean."
Dean just made a face at Sam, throwing a pillow at him. "Bitch." Sam rolled his eyes. "Jerk." He shot back.
no subject
"Wait a minute, you mean we'd be able to feel what each other are feelin'? No! No, no, I say, no! That's..." Before Dean could give him a hurt look, Eliot scowled and shook his head.
"That's too dangerous, man." He narrowed his eyes, "For you. I dunno what you think I do, but it ain't flowers and sunshine. Hell, he shot me." He waved a hand in gesture to Sam although this time there wasn't any malice at the words. Water under the bridge and all that, now he was only making a point.
"And trust me, he ain't the first one to try."
no subject
Of course, he hoped Eliot wouldn't take that threat in the wrong way. He had no clue how this shit worked. "You'd feel things emotionally. Umm anger, fear, happiness? Uhh love....joy? I don't know how it all works really. Empathy is an emotional connection though. Telepathy would be more dangerous in sharing that kind of pain honestly."
Dean didn't look at Eliot, taking just a moment to send his full glare Sam's way before ignoring his brother completely and pushing off the bed. He grabbed his plate off the nightstand, carrying it to the sink before he washed it and put it away, all the time being none too gentle.
no subject
"Still... too dangerous. Ain't there a way to stop this telepathy or empathy thing without breakin' the bond?"
Because Eliot wasn't trying to get rid of Dean, he was trying to eliminate all these strings attached that would potentially get them killed. He didn't know how dangerous was what Sam and Dean did for a living, but hunting monsters couldn't be that simple a thing either.
no subject
"I only know what I've read. There isn't enough information on either of the mental...I'm sorry." He shifted slightly. "I don't know what you do, man. I don't want to know, but...you can't have it any worse than us and what we do." He smiled weakly. "I've watched him get ripped apart by hellhounds and brought back to life four months later. He spent 40 years in hell."
He shrugged before pushing himself up. "Sorry, but nothing you can tell me about your job will compare to what he has been through. Now...I'm gonna try and call Bobby. See if he has any info." He walked to the door. "Dean call me if you need anything." All he got in reply was the middle finger before he sighed and walked out.
no subject
"Is he serious? You..." He trailed off when it was clear that neither of them were joking.
"How's that freakin' possible?" He got up and walked up behind Dean. "Talk to me, man. I get I'm missin' a lot here, and no one's gonna fill me in but you."
But he got that some things of the past should stay in the past. He did, so he wasn't going to push even though this made him physically uncomfortable with how strange it all was and without an explanation. He couldn't help but sniff Dean again, subtly, just to make sure he smelled like he was alive and not some reanimated corpse.
