He finally grabbed a large bowl, pouring the water into the bowl before kneeling. He sat the bowl down, looking at him and sliding his fingers through his fur. "Gimme a minute to cook this and then you'll have your steak. Think I might toss some of the chinese in the microwave." He smiled softly before scratching down his side, once again avoiding his wound with his touches.

He stood back up, checking the steak for a moment before digging through the fridge for the chinese leftovers. He grabbed a plate, piling it up with food as he shifted a bit, checking the steak again.
