Eliot considered, started to reach for the beer but ended up taking the water instead. His body was fighting one poison already, no point in adding another to it even though he felt it was a good one for his brain right now. He lost his appetite though.

"Yeah, I'll take the bed... can't sit on the couch with my back." He could've laid out on it, but that didn't seem such a great idea either right now.

Getting up was a wobbly affair but he waited holding onto the chair until he seemed steady. Slowly, he moved back over to the bed with the water. The burger remained on the table.
