Trust and feeling of safety was one thing, but pride and embarrassment was another.
Yet what choice did he have with him as weak as he was and the world threatening to spin out from around him? So gritting his teeth, Eliot manned it up. Reminding himself that injuries were nothing to be ashamed of and, he was oddly trusting of Dean anyway, he got straight to the point.
