He closed his eyes, curling his arm around the man to pull him close before opening them and looking at him. "Pretty sure everyone hates getting shot. It really sucks when it kills you, I'll tell you that. Getting shot in the chest hurts like a bitch." Thankfully the pain had only lasted a split second, but it had been bad enough.
