Eliot fell asleep against the comforting warm presence of his Alpha. This may possibly be the first time he actually slept the night through as a wolf, the first night that the beast was peaceful enough to want to sleep.

It was nearly dawn when Eliot suddenly awoke with the barely suppressed desire to howl. His whole body felt like it was on fire, and half falling and half jumping, he rolled off Dean to the floor below. Damnit! He had lost track of time in his sleep and now the change started to overtake him before he was ready for it.
