Of course, Dean being Dean took it the wrong way. He decided it wasn't worth pushing so he just turned his attention towards the tv, fingers curling slowly through Eliot's fur while the wolf enjoyed the steak. He assumed this meant that Eliot wouldn't want him around after all this was over. The next two nights would pass and Sam would help them figure out how to break the bond between them. Then Eliot could be free, right? Dean would never have to see him again...
Unfortunately, the idea kind of made Dean sick. He knew he should want to break the bond. He was a hunter. He shouldn't want to be stuck with a werewolf, but he knew Eliot was different. He wasn't just some blood thirsty monster. He glanced at Eliot for a moment, fingers catching in his fur for a split second before moving, scratching over his skin again.
Maybe Eliot thought it wasn't worth it being stuck around a human like him. It wasn't like he had the highest opinion of himself either.
